Love Story

If you’re a true romantic – this is the love story you’ve been waiting for, love at first sight really exists! In this story, we’re ignoring the chicken parmi and beer, and focusing on the glances across the restaurant. After first laying eyes on each other, Scott knew Cameron was the one for him. After that first initial moment and an awkward first date – it was Scott’s enthusiasm and zest for life that won Cameron over. After many years together, it was during one of their long drives to NSW that the pair discussed their future and decided on forever. Cut-to a Sunday morning proposal at home with their cat Raisin by their side, Scott and Cameron took just 9 months to plan their special day – one over a decade in the making.

The Day

Taking up the opportunity to share their love with everyone that has supported them over the last eleven years, Scott and Cameron’s wedding weekend was one great big celebration of love. Reflecting on the long road to their right to marry, the couple brought together their
inner circle to witness their commitment to one another - the start of their own happily ever after. From the moment they arrived at the Novotel on Friday, to heading home on Sunday, the couple and their guests were treated like royalty. Hosting a pre-wedding dinner on the Friday night, their post-wedding breakfast and their reception – the couple were blown away by the team’s service. For their official “I dos”, Scott and Cameron chose the one-hundred-and sixty-year-old
backdrop of the Geelong Club; a place held dear to Cameron as a long-standing member. Opting for a relaxed but classic theme, the pair chose a black-tie optional dress code and black, white and gold colouring to compliment the space. Working with Jessie Belle as their trusted celebrant (and official party starter with her own glamourous photo booth), Scott and Cameron felt a sense of calm and warmth heading into their big day – crediting Jessie’s grace and attention to detail. Some say your wedding day is ‘just one day’ – to that we say, you’re missing the point. Scott and Cameron’s wedding will always be more than just one day to them – it’s a culmination of what true love really embodies – commitment, patience and true dedication to one another.
